Meridiana had the reading done in the study. Since her sweet daughter had again fled to the earth, she was left alone often. It felt nice to take company on occasion, though since she kept herself largely socially distant, it was uncommon. An acquaintance was reading her fortune, and laying out likely dates for her daughter's return according to the closeness in the realms. It had been a while; she was certain that guilt would bring her daughter back to her again. She only paid cursory attention to the reading. The future's uncertainty was part of its beauty. She pretended only to have cursory interest in the meeting of the realms, but she was getting restless. It had been too long since she had embraced her child, tousled her hair, dressed her in finery and paraded her about. She found herself speaking to the fortune teller about her beloved child, "Of course, she is getting to that age. Soon it will be time to find her a suitable mate. It isn't easy to find noble half-breed incubi or incubi willing to take a half-breed bride. And the poor thing is rather awkward, isn't she?" She frowned slightly. Her poor daughter. She decided it should become a priority. Before her daughter returned, she would arrange some meetings.
