Player Name: Jenna
Play-by: Ari from Okage Shadow King (only taller and he has a nose )
Name (Nickname, or other assumed names): Yukimine (can be shortened to Yuki or Mine, but he really hates it)
Gender: Male
Race: Diavol (Infernal Dominant)
~Deformities: seven feet tall, meat eater teeth (all pointy ones, that is), and little horns
Age: 36
Height: 7'2"
Weight: 300
Build: Lanky and lean. With a little primping, one might call him slender, but mostly his height makes such a dainty description ill-fitting.
Eyes: Hazel. Yukimine has heterochromia (his father had it too), but since they shift in the light and between days, it is hard to tell. His eyes shift from smoky grey to brown (right) and from light silvery blue to green (left). Mostly they seem to be the same muddled greenish color.
Hair: Yukimine is a redhead, more towards auburn than orange. He keeps his hair at a decent length to hide his little black horns. It's difficult to completely hide them without really poofy hair so he wears hairbands to cover the tips. This might look girly on some, but on him it looks just sort of weirdly right.
Skin Tone: Yukimine is fairly pale, reflecting his aversion to being gawked at in the daytime.
Attire: When you're as tall as Yukimine is, clothing is hard to come by on Earth. His mother has amassed quite a collection for him in Acheron, but considering their relationship (see below), he mostly avoids her choices for him. He picks and chooses what he can actually wear in polite company. He has learned to sew, and whenever he gets the chance, makes himself more appropriate clothing. However, in his mother's presence, he wears what she mandates.
Weapons: Yukimine can fight hand-to-hand and with guns. One of Yukimine's oldest and dearest friends is also his main weapon. Yukimine fights with a heavily modified S&W500 named Bob. Yukimine wanted to name it Kiko, after a girl he liked, but was informed by the firearm that its name was Bob, kid, and he better not forget it. Bob has helped Yukimine in many a scuffle. Since he is not a weapon to be toyed with, Bob often assists more by giving advice than popping caps.
Bob's playby:
Fighting Style: Both Bob and Yukimine are not big on violence and are even more averse to death, so if they can figure a solution that doesn't end in blood, they are both happier for it. that being said, Yukimine is an explosive fighter, going for the quick take down over a dragged out fight. He doesn't have much endurance for fighting, and will seek to end the conflict swiftly. He is a crack shot with a revolver and between his efforts and bob's, they nearly never miss.
Biography: Yukimine was born to an Infernal mother and a human father. Yukimine's mother is a well-respected and powerful succubus. She deeply cared for Yukimine's father but his untimely death before Yukimine's birth caused her to retreat into her estates and shut out most of the rest of the world. She desired a fantasy life that her lover would often promise: they two and their daughter, the three of them carefree and happy. With her lover dead and her son born, however, she saw her dreams shattered.
She was a strong-willed woman, however, and decided that even without her lover she would have her good life. she gave her son a girl's name, dressed him as a girl, and introduced him as her daughter. Unfortunately (or perhaps fortunately), Yukimine has always been hopelessly masculine looking, and it only got worse as he got older. He was a gentle boy, and desperately wanted his mother's approval. He went along with her every whim for many years without complaint.
Over the years, Yukimine tired of his codependent relationship with his mother and began to seek escape. Acheron was not a place where he could get away from his mother, and so when he was old enough, he seized an opportunity and ran away from home. He feels guilty for abandoning his mother and visits her as often as he can, only to be imprisoned and forced to escape again.
He has lived on Earth for a few years, and is still trying to get used to the finer points of "human" life. He procured a job as a florist and lives in an apartment with very high ceilings. He doesn't really go out and barely eats since the place is so expensive, but he really enjoys the headroom like he's used to. Recently, he has discovered a real weakness for JIF peanut butter and watching the ducks at the park.
RP Sample (2-3 good paragraphs, preeze):
It was Tuesday. Yukimine basked in that realization in his bed. He had Tuesday off and there was hardly ever anyone at the park in the middle of the day. he had just went grocery shopping, so he had a brand new jar of peanut butter and a loaf of stale bread for the birdies. He grinned, and stretched one limb at a time, careful not to tumble out of bed and onto cold, hard reality. Or the floor.
Eventually he got up. He got dressed in plain clothes. He brushed his teeth and smiled at himself in the mirror. Pearly daggers gleamed in the bathroom light. He made a face. People here didn't like his smile. He fixed his blue hairband over his horns and nodded approvingly at his reflection.
He grabbed his rations and the birdfood, carefully locked the apartment and took the stairs down three at a time without much trouble. at the doorway to the lobby he paused. Music was playing, light and juvenile. Tentatively, he ducked his head through the door. The lobby was like a very open living room with a check-in desk. The television was on, playing a children's show.
"My name is Alexander!" said a little boy. "I like to dance!" And then he did, along with some other children and the characters of the show. Yukimine glanced around and then approached the TV. The landlord's daughter wasn't about. Usually she would be parked in front of the TV, watching her mother watch the desk. The landlady wasn't parked at the desk, either. Must've been called in the back briefly.
Yukimine turned his attention back to the television. The host of the show was saying, "Now you! Do you like to dance?" Yukimine glanced around, the host gesturing at him.
Tentatively, he said, "My name is Yukimine. I like to dance."
"I can't hear you!" said the host.
Yukimine cried out loud and strong, "My name is Yukimine! I like to dance!" And then he partied down with his peanut butter and bread until the host stopped the music and patted them all on the back with a congratulatory, "Wasn't that fuuun?"
Yukimine nodded firmly, ducking out the door with purpose. It had been fuuun.
