The building stood withering, old, and yet, just as majestic as always to her. The church's darkened corridors only provided her with a morbid comfort, so absolute and cold - so embracing. It was abandoned, alone - incomplete. A broken remnant of what was and what could have been. It saddened her to see such a dark and lovely place go to waste. The moon's rays rippled into the cracks in the ceiling. illuminating her with an eerie glow, those sapphire eyes searched the building with precise cause. A beast rose within her, hungry, vicious and aching for the sweet taste of sacrifice.
And with each thing she killed, with each ounce of blood she consumed - nothing seemed to quell the sorrow, the aching abyss that was her heart. The overwhelming bloodlust she felt when consuming and dominating her victim was a short-lived fulfillment. To often did Belladonna seek out the thrill of the hunt, the chill of the kill. The predator could hear his footsteps, soft and subtle, but still there. A dark shadow flew above, swallowing the light of the moon whole for a mere second to frighten the victim. The tactic worked, he began running.
"And the games begin." A blur within the night, Belladonna darted past several pillars before coming face to face with her victim. His lips pulled back to reveal his fangs, and striking out he sunk a knife into her stomach. Bella didn't bother to flinch, for there was no pain. Only a cold numbness. A smile slowly curled her pale lips, and for a mere second a single fang was flashed at the vampire. Tsking gently at him she pulled the knife from her body. Fake silver wouldn't do the job. It wouldn't even weaken her. when he began to run again, Belladonna did not pursue. instead, for a moment in time she stared down at the black blood flowing from her newly fashioned wound.
A low laugh escaped her as a memory violently corrupted her mind. On a night much like this one - the night Belladonna killed the only being she'd ever loved. Betrayal. It was a vicious, nasty thing. It caused a many assortment of emotions, including jealousy. Belladonna's true weakness. The pain of seeing her with another. Her lips touching his in a passionate display of forbidden love. How could you!? She inwardly screamed. had she thought that a monster...such a monster would have no heart?
Snapping out of the memory with a malicious anger, the monster arose from now kneeling position. A guttural growl ripped from between her lips. "Oh no, my pet. I'm afraid you won't be leaving here dead or alive." How dare he even try? the thought was amusing. Black blood dripped from her fingers tips, onto the ground in a morbid manner. Canines elongated to a vicious tip. An eerie glow surrounded the pale woman as waves of darkness pulsated from Belladonna. And then, within a moments notice two magnificent black wings spread from her shoulder blades and spread out - she lifted into the air with an intimidating speed.
Mere moments passed and she was upon her prey, a precise killer - a monster at it's best. Jaws spread open - coming in from behind the vampire. Hands lifted, resting softly upon the shoulder and the head and then, with a swift jerking movement Belladonna ripped into his neck. Sharp incisors slid into his solid skin like butter, piercing it with an untamed power. Lips circled around her feeding area and almost instantly did she begin to feed. The blood, it poured into her mouth - sliding down her tongue like silk. It was sweet, intoxicating - like an enchanting caress from a lover's touch. A groan escaped her throat, an animalistic sound. And as she drained the blood from him - the last words Belladonna spoke to her lover as she did the same to her came to mind...
"Now I know that I have a heart... Because it's breaking."

Darkness. It began with darkness. Darkness and the sharp scent of blood.
Shadows blotting out the moon, a flash of luminous blue eyes in the night, the thunderous flapping of feathered wings coupled with the wet gurglings of someone dying.
Flashes of the faces of two men, both stunning in their chiseled and almost exotic appeal...
Carmelia stood between them, clad in nothing but a simple and flowing white dress. Both men extended their hands to her as if to ask for a dance, one caressing her cheek with cool fingertips, the other slapping her hard across the opposite cheek with a hand that felt as though it should burst into flames. She lifted her own shaking hand to touch the blazing place on her visage where his had cruelly connected, stunned to find cool wetness there. Trembling more severely, CJ brought her hand in front of her face to inspect it, surprised to see the beads of crimson that hovered on the tips of her fingers. A bead of it quivered momentarily before falling from her hand to crash onto her pristine garment, the droplet suddenly becoming a deluge that soaked her from head to toe. CJ woke up screaming, rolling out of bed in a tangle of damp sheets and her own twisted pajamas. It only took her a few seconds to realize that it had only been a dream. She frantically touched her face, heaving a sigh of relief when she discovered that her face hadn't been raked open by some pissed off Asian and that she wasn't swimming in blood - her own or otherwise.
She glanced at the bright red LED display of her alarm clock on the nightstand beside her bed. It was 3:33 a.m. It had clearly been a dream, but... It had a feel to it like the others which often turned out to have shades of the future in them. Determined to warn her just in case, CJ picked up her cell phone and punched in "Noa" before hitting send.
As it rang and she waited for her friend to pick up, CJ grabbed the last teddy bear her father had given her, a plush sandy brown number wearing a camouflage hunting cap and vest. Clutching Huntington tight to her chest and wiping away the frightened tear that managed to escape her, Carmelia Jianni Sarvino waited.

It was the deadest sleep she'd had all week. The dreams had been sporadic, intermittent and lacking any form of connection. But thankfully, it was beginning to feel like an uneventful evening.
But as if instincts were preparing her for the sudden shift, her eyes flickered and she fell from her dreamy haze. Half awake and half suppressed, she kept her eyes closed in hopes of falling back to sleep before ---
Too late. The ringing came incessantly, and though she had been restless, it was unlike her to ignore phone calls at such an odd hour. Rolling to the night stand, she threw back the covers to reveal her white satin nightie, adjusting a fallen strap absent minded - as if someone was watching her.
Fumbling through the drawer, Noa let out a long drawn out sigh as her head demanded that she return to bed. Folding over old clippings and bill piles, she retrieved her cell phone and shot a hazed glance at the display. When CJ's name flashed repeatedly across the black lit panel, she quickly sat upright, clicking on the desk lamp and opening the flip screen.
"CJ?" Her voice was throaty, holding a hoarseness of early morning. Hearing the fainted quiver in her friends words across the line, she spoke again - clearer and with a more directed undertone. "CJ, what's wrong?"
Concern blanketed her face, regardless of her friends inability to see it. She cupped the bottom mic, pressing the receiving end closer to her ear, paying careful attention to the muttered phrases she would soon speak of.

Meanwhile...
The thrill overwhelmed her, taking over her senses and sending them into overdrive. The Vampire within her grasp struggled, flailing helplessly as her teeth dug deeper into his neck. He attempted to run forwards, but his escape was thwarted by the sudden wings that impaled his entire stomach. Ruffled feathers flew into the air around his face, and a pleading cry escaped his lips - blood spurted up, tainting his pale skin. The wings soaked up the blood, small droplets falling to the ground in a beautifully morbid display.
Belladonna continued to drain him, her breathing becoming heavy - her movements more jerky. The bloodlust burning her up, warming her usually cold body. It made her feel complete, if only for a little while. It had been so long since she'd fed - months upon months. Her feeding became frenzied, as if she didn't have enough time to finish. The Vampire's cries for help became gargled and silent. Once sapphire eyes opened, revealing their now violent crimson coloring. Glowing eerily within the moon light's rays.
The dark creature drained the cursed Vampire completely. Her wings withdrew, shooting out and splaying blood all upon the old church's broken walls. Those sharp teeth lifted out from the rock like skin of the Vampire, her pale lips covered in blood. Despite her frenzy, the mess wasn't all that bad - a dribble of blood fell from the corner of her mouth. Her tongue quickly lashed out to sweep it up. Bloody fingers were lifted, her mouth enclosed the slender appendages as she savored the very last bit of the blood left over.

"Noa!" Carmelia said quickly, letting out a breath she hadn't even known she was holding. "Thank God..." She shook her head, realized Noa couldn't see her, and rolled her eyes at herself. "Sorry to be waking you at this hour, but..."
She went on to describe her grotesque and weird dream in great detail to the girl who'd been her closest friend since early on in high school. CJ concluded with, "...And it's just like the other ones. I woke up at the same time and everything. I think we might be coming across some weird crime scenes soon, if no one's dead already."
CJ'd been pacing back and forth restlessly, deciding finally on walking downstairs to the much cooler kitchen to pace there on the tile floor while she chatted. The lights were off in her apartment, a townhouse two-bedroom she currently lived alone in, and there was something about the feel of the blackness around her that set her nerves on edge. Pulse rapidly increasing the more she thought about it, she reached the bottom of the stairs and stopped. Blinking a moment while her eyes adjusted to the darkness, it occurred to her why things didn't feel right...
"Get the fuck out of my house!" she shouted, grabbing a wineglass from the overhead metal rack as she passed the breakfast nook and island and tossing it at the dark-haired figure seated at the dining room table. While the glass was in mid-air, CJ flipped on the light switch just in time to see the glass collide with the far wall and shatter into a glittering and explosive mass of multi-colored shards.
There was no one there. "...What?" she asked quietly of no one in particular, perplexed and disturbed, her quiet query echoing off the walls of the empty kitchen.

As the story unfolded Noa felt the sudden urge to get motivated. Sliding from her bed, she shuffled to the closet, urging CJ to continue. Letting her nightie fall to the floor, she recovered herself in black long sleeve crew, the cotton fabric soft and cold, tightening around the curves of her chest. Sliding into a pair of denim slacks was harder to accomplish single handedly.
CJ continued to stammer in her words, and Noa stiffened at the horrible confusion that the dream described. When the story was near its completion, she clenched her fist in silent anger, whispering to herself with confidence, "Not if I can help it..."
Just then, CJ's screams echoed as a static hum through the phone. "Huh? What!? CJ's who's there?" She waited impatiently, grabbing her guns and exiting her apartment. Thundering footsteps came to a calm as CJ's voice responded in misguided lyric. She waited for an explanation, if she had one at all.
Noa's heart pounded in her chest as she paced herself down the four story staircase. Maybe there was more to this dream than she wanted to accept. When the momentary scare lessened, she spoke softly to ensure her friend understood her. "CJ, did you see anything else? Maybe something that I could get a discernible location from?" Noa knew the town like the back of her hand, even the smallest detail would be better than nothing to her.
(ooc) - If you wanted to go somewhere with the shadowy figure, then I can cut out the last paragraph.

Meanwhile...
As she licked her fingers, as she swallowed the last bit of the blood from the Vampire - well, at least she thought it was the last bit. Apparently this particular Vampire had a strong will. Why? Crimson eyes turned sapphire as she watched the now helpless creature attempt to crawl away from her. "Why do you fight so hard? Fight for a fake life that doesn't belong to you. You were meant die..." The words were whispered darkly, in a sweetened tone that dripped with venom. And then, as she thought about her words - she realized - she had no right to say them. None at all. What was she, but a worthless remnant of life as well. The thought sickened her, and in a retaliation of a sudden malicious anger, Belladonna lashed out at the Vampire. Rearing back her leg, she landed a rough kick into his side.
The force behind the kick caused the Vampire to fly through the air and into a pillar not to far off. Sighing she took a step forwards, then stretched. Allowing her wings to fold neatly against her back, Belladonna failed to notice that they dripped with the Vampire's blood still. Slowly, she began walking over to her prey. The back of her heals clicked gently against the stone floor of the old church. As she neared him, her hand outstretched and grabbed his hair, forcing his head back as she exposed his thin neck. Her other hand slid beneath her dresses skirts and pulled out a shining, sterling silver dagger. A twin in her lovely set of daggers. Moving she pressed it against his throat. "You are freed." And with that, Belladonna slid the blade across his throat, but put a great amount of pressure behind it - so not only did it slit his throat, but decapitated him as well.

Elsewhere
The air was thick with the various emotions that grew more intense as the skies grew darker. In the streets a creature walks though empty alleys and crowds of people. Shadows danced on the walls as street lights cast an amber glow about the creature. Faces contort with looks of fear and disgust as the being walks past them. A overwhelming feeling of discomfort grows.
The beast turns down an alley and stops against a wall. A long drawn out sigh is let out as a flame is lit and a reddish-gold ember burns bright at the end of a cigarette, lighting the red eyes of the vampire. The smoke bounces around his tongue and teeth, before being expelled. Ruki looks to the ground and sighs again. "There is more to this world than I thought. It is utterly amazing how much of my life has been lived in ignorance under my mothers rule. A hidden world that has been opened to me over these past few months. What kind of world do these supposed 'Royals' live in that they do not see this outside land as something not to be killed and fed off from but saved by the powers we have been cursed with."
Ruki pondered for a moment before taking another drag from his cigarette. "Fuck don't start ranting like the prince of Denmark Ru..." he shook his head and stepped on a bug that was crawling by. "See how quickly I took your life...you had no chance...no chance against something more powerful...you deserve to have a chance...to late now." he smirked and pushed off from the wall, jumping up and swinging onto a fire escape. "Am I ready to be crushed like the bug?" He took another drag and tossed the butt down to the street.

CJ shook her head. "The guy was... I honestly have no fucking idea right now. It could have just been my mind playing tricks from the dream... Location?" She closed her eyes for a moment, thinking back to the dream.
Flashes of high stained glass windows and elaborate arches flared to life behind her eyes. "A church? An old church, maybe? I have no idea where it'd be, though." She let out a small cry of pain and clutched at her head, almost dropping the phone.
Immaculately mussed blond hair, a full lower lip that begged to be kissed, with a lit cigarette dangling from that luscious mouth... Eyes that glowed red in the darkness, a helpless insect...
"Fuck me..." she half sobbed as the pain intensified, her knuckles turning white as she clutched at her head, feeling like she was trying to keep it from splitting in half and her desperate fingers were the only things keeping her brains from spilling onto the tiles. "I'm having full-on visions while I'm awake, Noa. This can't be good..." A rivulet of blood trickled from her nose and she ignored it, telling the other girl of the potential for there being more than just the killer on the scene.
"If you go there right now, you fucking take someone with you! This is some heavy shit right now and I'll be damned if I lose you to it." She tilted her head back, sniffing lightly, dismayed as she noticed that it wasn't clotting. "Damn... I've got a massive nosebleed going on. Take care of yourself out there, and you call me as soon as you get there! I don't care if it turns out to be nothing. I need to know you're safe." CJ grabbed a napkin to keep from dripping all over the kitchen floor and herself, holding it lightly to the bottom of her nose.

A heavy sigh of relief lingered on her breath. CJ's 'gift' hadn't been the greatest thing to happen to them the past few years. In Noa's eyes having a median of sorts made the world seem - different. Though similar cases were spread on throughout the globe, Noa never could prepared herself for being so close to one. The fear that came with it, was like losing innocence. Revealing the darkest part of a world you always thought you knew. Despite her own misguided impressions on the idea, it was nothing in comparison to what CJ must be feeling.
Her train of thought circled about that particular remnant, so much so she'd forgotten she was on the phone. After a long pause, that lasted till her exit of the complex, Noa was hit with the revelation in CJ's vision. "St David's!"
The rush of a the early morning breeze whipping against her face with a savage chill. She shuddered, feeling the numbness in her fingers creep down her arms. She advanced across the loft, jogging effectively around scantly planted cars and trucks belonging to other tenants. Searching among them for the location of her own transportation.
Meanwhile the conversation continued, CJ's side effects kicking in as the vision was obviously intensified. "Are you sure you're ok?" This wasn't the common experience. Her visions usually came at night, and by the time it was interpreted, the killer would have escaped. No matter the response Noa was well on her way, and as for dragging someone else along - there was no time.
Though she felt her friends concerned gestures, she had no intentions of dragging Carl into this - not before she scoped things out. He'd bicker and moan, demanding tat she wait for him...which wouldn't happen anyway. Noa seemed to work better under pressure, and at 3 am, no coffee, fruity pebbles, or Chief Steiner breathing down her neck - Carl's absence would only enhance the thrill of this bust.
"I'll be fine - you watch yourself."
Without realizing it she sped the conversation up, already having enough information to continue. Closing the phone without providing CJ with a positive answer, she tucked it away and sank into the night.
Several meters later, the sheen of her black Kawasaki Versys flashed before her. Straddling the natural curve of the leather seating, Noa revved the engine and burst from the lot to the music of the cycles purring organs as they curled across her ear drums.
Left through the square and right down Water Wind, Noa dodged late night traffic and crowded boardwalks until the sparkle of the restless city faded into shadows. The engine came to a halt, with the faint click of the kick stand. Dismounting and upholstering one of her guns, she cupped the base of the handle, tightened her fingers on the grip, and took one dreary gaze at the abandoned church before cautiously moving toward it.

And so began the dance. Slowly, she swayed back and forth to the tune in her head. The music, as if coming alive from just her thoughts started to echo against the tall, grand stone walls of the old church. It was an elegant song, despite the obvious sad tune of it. Leaning over she picked up the headless corpse of the Vampire and oddly enough - began dancing with it. Her steps were light, barely audible, but the dragging weight of the Vampire was different. It made a sickening sound, scraping against the stone. But the music continued, and so did Belladonna's dance. And then she laughed, as suddenly - the scent of a human being reached her nose.
Dropping the corpse rather abruptly, the pale predator continued her dance solo. This would be interesting, it had been so long since a human had seen her work. Usually she was oh so very careful of disposing of her prey. The internal music that played for Belladonna completely stopped, the Methuselah's body tensed, but she stood still. As still as a statue - except for her wings. They flicked lightly in anticipation of the human's actions. Sapphire eyes seemed to light up eerily within the moonlit rays, her silver hair seemed to glow with an ethereal appearance. Pale lips curled up slowly into a curious smile.
But wait, what would happen if the human saw her now? Wouldn't it seem a bit strange? Belladonna definitely didn't want any humans annoying her - especially since she wasn't exactly unknown to the human world. Turning she side-stepped behind a pillar. Leaning over she outstretched her wings, repressing a painful cry as the retreated back beneath her skin. Slowly, the skin began to grow back over them. The sound was sickening, but not so load that the human would be able to hear it. A light sheen of sweat now covered her body, but taking deep breaths she tried to forget the pain.
Her face was still lightly covered in the Vampire's blood, but she had wiped most of it off. With her hands still on her knees, leaning over, Belladonna fell to her side in a rather dramatic fashion. With her breathing still heard and the rate of heart racing at a startlingly pace due to the pain she'd just endured - it would seem she was more scared out of her wits rather than a possible suspect. The wind blew, and Bella took this time to start shivering, curling up in a little ball next to the pillar that the body had been dropped by. Silent, yet feigned sobs began, causing her body to tremble. Forced tears fell down her flawless face.

CJ sighed as she hung up the phone, stuffing the Blackberry into the waistband of her shorts. She felt wetness on her fingers through the napkin and half-ran to the bathroom. She tossed the napkin and tilted her head back again, breathing shallowly through her mouth. There was no need to bother with the light, the cream colored tiles being bright enough for her to see clearly even in the darkness. A few moments passed and, although it hadn't totally ceased, the nosebleed seemed to be slowing.
Lifting her phone with her free hand she quickly hammered out a text to Noa.
{Your skinny ass better call me as soon as you get there, goddammit!}

A fragrance floated about the air, familiar yet odd. Ruki's face twisted with the thought of an old pleasure. "Blood..fresh and sweet as nectar." his body shifted and turned towards the window behind him. It was not within his nature to seek out blood direct from the source, however it had been several days since he hit a blood bank. His fingers ran down the window pane and with a slight push the glass shattered into the room.
His body ached as the scent grew with an intensity. The room was dark though it was easy to see where everything was from both the brightly coloured tiles and his own natural night-vision. He took a deep breath and let the intoxicating aroma fill his lungs. His eyes slightly rolled back as he exhaled. He had to be careful or else he would go completely blood crazed. Ruki looked to his left and spotted his possible prey. A women was in the bathroom treating a nosebleed. A crooked smile crept across his face. "Are you ready to run?" his eyes locked onto her with deadly intent. His lips curled back exposing his fangs, his fingers extended ready for his first move. "Quickly now" he said to her softly. Fear should keep her from moving...then I can go in...damn I hate doing this but I need blood.

The inky black of the sallow halls swallowed her. The eerie wails of the wind, clawing at the mosaic windows, made each step cautious and calculated. The moonlight spread its iridescent beams through the glass, moving gently against Noa's stride as she made her way into the abandoned church.
In the distance, the soft sobs of a woman in pain made her attention snap. "Who's there?" Listening closely to the trailing sounds, she pressed her senses to the air, faintly caressing the gentle fragrance of blood. She knew it all to well.
Raising her drawn weapon, she shifted accurately through the empty lobby, greeted by creaky floor boards and bent hinges that elongated the noise made by her actions. "Hello?" Her voice trailed off into an echo, bouncing back to tell her she had reached no one.
As she made her way into sanctum, her heart stopped. Motionless for a second, the image before her sent shivers of terror against her spine. A beheaded man, receded to the foreground, the moonbeam hovering about the claret stains that drenched his clothes and wound. In the shadows near him, the round and bulbous shape of his once attached head rolled effortlessly to a halt. And there - the repressive lull of the woman tears that had urged Noa forward, revealed itself.
She sat abnormally clothed, bathed in the pooling blood that blanketed the church floor. Rushing to her side Noa quickly lowered her weapon, "Oh my god! Are you alright?" She cleared her throat, releasing the essence of terror and replacing it with an authoritative sense of control.
Sifting through the basics of casual conversation, she reached for the woman in an attempt to support her weight. "What happened?" Against the continual heaves and breathy speech, it was figured the assailant had fled the seen...but why leave the woman alive?
Suddenly, the obnoxious overture of her cell's ring tone declared that she had received a new message. "Damn!" Startled, she jumped, fumbling into her pockets for the phone, flipping it open to see CJ's frantic beckon for her call. Having glanced away from the woman momentarily...all her defenses had been dropped.

The sobs continued, her sapphire eyes brimming with watery tears. And just as she had planned, the human automatically allowed her defenses to lower once she got close enough. But wait, something happened that Belladonna didn't expect. She stiffened as the woman's scent overwhelmed her. Vibrant eyes grew wide, her entire mind went blank. What...what was this? The woman's scent, her body heat - it was intoxicating. Bella fought the urge to just bite down on the nearest limb.
Something seemed overwhelmingly delicious about this human woman. Wide eyes began to turn to a deep crimson with her sudden hunger, but she'd just eaten! Belladonna's breathing began getting heavier. That light sheen of sweat dried up now, but it didn't stop her from being extremely hot. Grabbing at her chest she groaned lightly. This feeling was almost painful. And so, now irritated that this mere human girl had triggered something so foreign - Belladonna sought out answers. Jerking upwards, Belladonna's small hand lifted, aiming to grip the woman's thin neck.
Pivoting lightly on her feet, now standing at her full height - Bella slammed the woman against the pillar. It wasn't hard, but she used just enough pressure to make the blonde uncomfortable. Pale lips peeled back as she stared up viciously at Noa. Fangs gleamed morbidly within the iridescent moonlight. Her silver hair seemed ghostly and her crimson eyes burned with a fiery passion. Nails elongated lightly, aiming to cut ever so gently into the woman's soft skin. "Who are you?" The words were literally growled out, Belladonna's voice was low and husky.
"!!!"

CJ nearly jumped out of her skin as her bathroom window burst inward. She ducked instinctively and covered her head with her arms as the crystalline shards showered down upon her like a razorblade rain, slicing her forearms open in multiple places. She quickly checked herself to make sure she hadn't been shot. She hadn't heard any gunfire, but a silencer could have eliminated any noise she might have picked up on. But she quickly saw, upon lifting her head so most of the glass slid off her and onto the floor, that a man was halfway through her window... What had been her window, anyway. At least it wasn't the dark-haired man she'd spotted at the kitchen table.
He gave her a lopsided grin that simultaneously did two things: sped her pulse so her heart fluttered rapidly in her chest like a trapped bird, and made her so violently angry that her vision blurred for a moment. "Ready to run?" she countered quietly in return, blue-green eyes catching the light from behind her as she stood to face him, half her visage cast in shadow.
"Quickly now..." he said, flashing fangs at her that were very convincing.
However, Carmelia Jianni Sarvino was not amused. It was a shame really, because he would've been hot as hell under different circumstances. "What the fuck are you, some half-cracked vampire lifestyler out to get his rocks off from a little rape and bloodplay?" Not waiting for his answer, she grabbed the ceramic soapdish on the counter that was shaped like a fat dragon and chucked it at him with all the force she could muster; the ceramic crashed into his temple and burst into pieces and a cloud of pottery dust. She started backing out of the bathroom, slamming the door shut in his face and running back to the kitchen, hunting for anything else she could use as a weapon...
A Ginsu that could have doubled as a short sword seemed like it would work nicely. She stood in the center of the kitchen so she wouldn't be boxed in, an avenue of escape plotted in every direction. Could she call the cops? Sure. Should she? More than likely. Did she..? Hell no.
"You want blood? Breakfast is served, motherfucker!"

Smash The small object exploded on the side of Ruki's head, causing him to stumble back slightly and grasp his temple. "Mother fucker!" regardless of his vampiric abilities, a sudden item smashing him in the temple causes pain. He shook his head and looked to the door blocking him from where the lady had gone, eyes blasting red with slight fury, and some arousal, he did so love the chase.
Getting to the door Ruki rapped at it several times. "Oh little pig little pig let me come in?" a maniacal laugh escaped his throat as he dug his nails into the board. "How about I get that for you?" with a slight pull her tore the door from the hinges and tossed it to the side.
Making his way to the kitchen he poked his head around the corner. "Vampire lifestyler? Seriously lady?" he looked to the weapon before him, "Come on you're going to need more than that to kill me." A wicked smile crossed his face as he took several steps forward. He paused for a moment then spoke "I'll show you what vampire lifestylers cannot." In a blur of speed he was behind her hovering by her neck. His cool breathe danced around her throat as he spoke "Welcome to the real world." his hands quickly wrapped around her grabbing her hands to keep the weapon at bay.
"Told you to run."

As the strange man ripped her door from the hinges, she was thankful that she had no neighbors in this duplex. And at the same time... "You bastard! How the hell am I supposed to get my security deposit back, now?!"
CJ didn't even have time to get fully furious; he was invading her space like that annoying mouth-breather kid who always stalked the pretty girls in middle school. Before she could even attempt to go after him with the knife, her hands were trapped beneath his. She tried to struggle and found, much to her personal shame, that this lanky rail of a man was as immovable as a concrete pillar. She was nearly half a foot shorter than he was, but they probably weighed about the same, and CJ was in pretty decent shape, so how in the hell...
"Told you to run," he practically purred, his breath unnaturally icy on her throat.
"...No way." she breathed, her pulse like the thundering hooves of a herd of wild mustangs. "You're fucking serious..." She half turned in his arms to look up into his eyes. "...How in the hell can this even be happening?" her voice was quiet, almost full of wonderment.

He barred his fangs and moved towards her throat but paused, something didnt seem right, didn't feel right...this wasn't the way. He was taken back for a moment, it was bizarre for him to feel this way. He looked into her eyes, they were full of both fear and wonder. "You really don't?" he shook his head and let go of her hands and spun away from her, sitting on the counter. His red eyes scanned her up and down several times then stopped on her face.
Could she honestly not know that Vampires exist?
He moved to her again with amazing speed, his body a blur of motion as he paused before her. "I'm sorry about your door." He half smiled before moving again to the far wall. "I feel that formal introductions are in order. The name is Ruki, and yes I am in fact a REAL Vampire." He smiled flashing his fangs. He always loved showing them off like that, made the people 'ooo' and 'ahh' at local bars, though he didn't expect much more than another piece of pottery thrown at his face, in this case the knife in his eye.

"Shit!" Noa scoffed, choking as oxygen fled from her lungs. Hands trembling, her drawn gun fell crashing against the hard wood floor with her cell. She felt her body jerk upward, rocketing back in a swift ejection. Pain shattered her train of thought, as the solid masonry of a pillar abruptly stopped her move.
CRACK! The stone obstacle chipped under the pressure, sending static bursts of pain into her spine. but to be hurled and pinned at such fore was not a natural feat. She kicked and bucked to break free, but her panic weakened her force and she fell helpless to the lack of air. "What...hell!?" She cried, not sure exactly what was happening.
Throwing her hands to the woman's hold, she pried with the full exertion of her available might, only succeeding in increasing her supply of air. Her assailants hand froze her finger tips, a morbid stiffness about that was undeniably awkward. Her voice was a sick and twisted lyric, rolling off her tongue in a hoarse whisper and edge of aggression.
To focused on her moves, Noa had little time to ponder the woman's appeal or reflect on the obscurity of the situation. Not answering her question at first, she placed a firm grasp on the females wrist, pulling on the firm appendage for leverage. Hoisting herself up, she aimed a knee to the woman lower torso, a shallow blow to lighten her grip.
With a secure placement on her arm, a loosened grip would result in Noa's freedom. In a downward motion, she'd recover, side step left and fold her right foot back to pick up momentum. Spinning her body a swift back spin kick to the girls hip would result in a flashy display of her rusty skills.
(ooc) - Ignore the weird wording..it was 1 o'clock and I didn't bother. I usually write fight posts under better conditions.

The fangs didn't impress her, but the way he moved around like he was bending the very fabric of space and time around him did. When he ended up at the other end of the room, she waved off his apology about the door. She knew a few guys who did construction... They'd be more than willing her help her for cheap-to-free if she was dressed properly when they showed up. It was an issue to be dealt with at another time.
This whole vampire business, however... CJ realized she was still brandishing the massive knife as if she had every intention of sticking it somewhere soft and full of organs. She dropped it into the sink near to her with a loud metallic clang that made her jump from the noise. She shook her head and let out a nervous laugh at herself. Now that the adrenaline was starting to wear off and this Ruki character seemed to be less of a threat, she had that sick feeling in the pit of her stomach from the unused adrenaline now poisoning her system and making her muscles feel like Jello.
"Call me CJ... And you're serious," she said simply. A statement, no longer a question. "I'd ask you how, but I'm assuming you were either born one or turned into one... That's how most of the lore goes." She sighed and let her head drop into her hands and she rubbed tiredly at her eyes. "Are you going to tell me that the Closet-Monster and the Boogie Man are real too, Ruki?"
Again, not really wanting to know the answer to that, she went on. "I take it you're hungry, or you wouldn't have just barged in here, so..." She held her wrist out with a strange feeling of acceptance, not tinged in the slightest with fear anymore. "I'd rather have it be me than some random asshole who has no idea what's happening to them. Don't want you to make some poor bastard need therapy for the rest of their life."

Ruki let out a laugh. "I don't need your blood. I'm not one to just snake it from someone. This whole breaking and entering thing, just a fluke." He paused for a moment. Just a fluke? Really now? You were about to bite into this poor womens throat and drain her of her very life essence....just a fluke, what the fuck man? He shook his head and sighed.
"Oh and the Boogie Man very much real, nasty mother fucker at that, wouldn't try to throw down with him, but closet monsters that shit is all to keep little joey from finding mommy and daddy's sex toys." Ruki walked towards CJ slowly, stopping a few feet from her. "It is nice to meet you CJ...if you don't mind I should probably leave...I'm already breaking the rules by being in your house un-invited..." In all reality he was just trying to avoid the question and answer segment of the meeting, he hated explaining his whole life...all 125 years of it.

CJ rolled her eyes. "You do need blood, genius. The fact that you 'broke the rules' because you smelled my nosebleed proves it. And you're not stealing it from me. I'm offering it to you."
Against my better judgment.. she added mentally. Clearly, he was strong enough and fast enough to take her down in two seconds. Even with her skills and training, she was nowhere near a match for the man before her.
She waved her wrist at him almost tauntingly, urging him on. "And I'm not trying to turn this into Interview with a Vampire or anything, Ruki. I don't want or need your life/unlife story. I don't want to be a vampire. You're hungry, and I have the solution for you so you don't become dangerous and lose your head enough to actually attack someone." She lifted the huge knife from the sink and let the blade rest on her wrist, the sheer weight of it pressing against the artery there. "Don't make me make this irresistible to you..." she added, determination apparent in her blue-green eyes.

His body tensed up at the sight of the blade pressed against her wrist. "Don't be an idiot..." in a blur of speed he was on her once again, his cold hands ran down her arm to her wrist and pushed the blade away.
"No need to be suicidal...if you are offering then I will accept." his fangs extended and he turned his face to her wrist. Please let me stop... His teeth touched her skin and he quickly bite down, piercing the flesh and allowing the warm liquid to flow into his mouth. Luckily for CJ; Ruki decided that pain was not needed, though the second option was a bite that ensued an intense feeling of pleasure.
The blood flowed into his mouth and he drank...he drank and drank feeling the liquid fill his body. The feeling of being full was something he hadn't had in a long time. Damn it pull away...come on Ruki pull away!

"Don't be an idiot," he said, on her and pushing the blade away with yet another display of inhuman speed. A few more words involving his acceptance were followed by a sharp and intense flash of pain that was so brief she was almost certain she'd imagined the whole thing.
His frigid hands were a total contrast to the sudden wash of fire that coursed through her veins, making her knees weak so she leaned back heavily against the kitchen counter to prevent herself from falling. She gripped hard at the edge of the counter with her other hand, an intimate pleasure so powerful that it obliterated all thought forcing unbidden cries of ecstasy from her lips as it crashed into her.
Panting and trembling after a few brief moments that seemed to stretch on for eternity, CJ was beginning to feel weak, her vision becoming spotty at the edges. She pushed shakily at his head with her other arm, trying to speak and having her voice come out as nothing but a breathy squeak. She licked her lips and cleared her throat, fighting to keep her eyes open and shoving a bit harder as she said with more conviction, "Enough."
